Thomas Bell, President and CEO

Mr. Bell joined Katabatic in October 2009. Prior to his appointment he was Executive Vice President of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation [TSX:GC], Canada's largest multi-jurisdictional gaming and entertainment operator. In addition to his 16 year tenure with Great Canadian, Mr. Bell has held director and senior management positions with various publicly traded companies in the gaming, financial services and mining exploration industries. Mr. Bell's extensive experience in senior management and corporate finance as well as his knowledge of private sector working relationships with government regulatory bodies, First Nations, municipalities and crown corporations make him a great addition to Katabatic's management team.

Nolan Thomasson, Project Manager

Mr. Thomasson has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from University of Victoria and a diploma in Mechanical Engineering-Manufacturing Option from BCIT. Prior to joining Katabatic Power, Mr. Thomasson worked as a Technical Principal at an aerospace manufacturer. During his seven years in the industry he has also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer, Program Manager, Production Supervisor and Cell Manager. His many different jobs primarily involved managing scheduling and organizing the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft structures, managing over 90 unionized labourers, as well as dealing with vendors and customers resulting in 20 Million dollars of annual production.
